The 3EC16452BG, HECI code VACVDSM, is an OC-3 Single-Mode 1550nm LR Network Termination module for the Alcatel 7300.  You may also know this as the Alcatel-Lucent 3EC16452BG or Nokia 3EC16452BG.

The Alcatel 7300, or A7300, ATM Subscriber Access Multiplexer (ASAM) is an access system for any ATM–based Broadband ISDN (BB–ISDN) switching fabric. The system delivers POTS and ADSL services to subscribers over the widely installed single metallic pair subscriber loop base.

The Alcatel 7300 ASAM implements advanced modulation/signal processing techniques over ordinary subscriber twisted pairs to allow high–speed digital communications between the ASAM and a DSL modem at the customer’s premises (residential, SOHO or business). Asymmetric (ADSL) and symmetric (SHDSL) interfaces are available.
