TruePulse is looking to purchase Ciena 130-0029-930 and Ciena 130-0030-930 cards.  They are part of Ciena’s legacy CoreStream long-haul DWDM transport system.

130-0029-930, HECI code LGF3ZCC, is a Ciena CoreStream MultiWave Receiver Module.  You may also be familiar with it as a Ciena MultiWave Sentry 1600 130-0029-930.

130-0030-930, HECI code LGF3ZDD, is a Ciena CoreStream MultiWave Receiver Module.  You may also be familiar with it as a Ciena Multiwave Sentry 1600 130-0030-930.

Through a refinement of the MultiWave 1600 known as the MultiWave Sentry, this system could use short-reach interfaces to mix SONET, ATM and Fast IP onto a common optical network.  The MultiWave Sentry 1600 supports 16 waves.  It can send signals up to 800 kilometers without the need for signal regeneration through a SONET multiplexer. This was in part due to the deployment of span management, which includes 25-dB amps as well as then more traditional 30-dB amps.

Beyond the 130-0029-930 and 130-0030-930, we are searching for other Ciena CoreStream modules too.  We are also seeking boards for other Ciena optical networking platforms, including the CoreDirector, the 6500 and the Z-Series.  Please let us know what you have for sale!
