TruePulse is looking for 134-5452-900 and 134-5484-900 modules for the Ciena CoreDirector platform, also known as the Ciena 5400.

The 134-5452-900, HECI code IPUIBS6, is a Ciena CoreDirector TSLM-48 line module (TDM Services Line Module).  The 134-5452-900 supports up to 48 multi-rate pluggable 155M to 2.7G Ports: OC-3/STM-1 — 155.52 Mb/s, OC-12/STM-4 — 622.08 Mb/s, OC-48/STM-16 — 2.488 Gb/s, OTU1 — 2.666 Gb/s and GbE — 1 Gb/s.

The 134-5462-900, HECI code IPU3A3H, is a Ciena CoreDirector OTN module, OSLM-3. The 134-5462-900 is optimized for OTN (Optical Transport Network). It has embedded SONET/SDH capabilities (up to 12x 10G embedded SONET/SDH over ODU2 with STS/VC switching).

The 5400 Switch delivers a wide range of optical OTN, SONET/SDH, and Ethernet services combined with a wide variety of protection capabilities. The 5400 Switch consists of intelligent Optical-Electrical-Optical (OEO) switches with a control plane equipped with a 3-stage, non-blocking, uni- and/or bidirectional switching fabric capable of switching at the ODU0 to ODU3, STS1/VC-3, and packet level from any input port to any other output port.
