AT&T has reportedly agreed to buy Time Warner for $80 billion dollars.  The formal announcement may come as early as later today.  The combined companies would form a telecommunication and media colossus.

Consolidation in the telecom space continues.  How does this make the “mom-and-pop” independent telcos and cablecos feel!
