TruePulse is searching for FC9511MSF2 and FC9511MMS5 modules.  These are part of Fujitsu’s Lightwave Add/Drop Shuttle OC-192 SONET Transport Advanced Multiplexor platform, or simply the FLASH-192.

The FC9511MSF2, HECI Code SN96S9J, is a FUJITSU FLASH-192 MS Channel Unit

The FC9511MSF2 is an OC-48 interface for the FLASH-192 system. The MSF2 units contain short-reach optics and are used in the Optical Tributary shelf only. It is one of the required options in the Optical Tributary shelf for subtending ring configurations.

Note that the MSF2 unit is for use in the Optical Tributary shelf only, and must not be used in the OC-192 Transport shelf because of power requirements.

The FC9511MSF2 unit in the Optical Tributary shelf provide multiplexing/demultiplexing to the OC-12 and OC-3 levels. In FLASH-192 systems with a Routing shelf, the MSF2 can interface with NFR1 units in the Routing shelf to provide unrestricted time-slot assignment (TSA) capability.

The FC9511MSF2 also provides the protection switching for most of the network applications and can provide a terminal TSA function on a TSAx48 basis. Each unit handles 48 STS-1 channels, with paired units supporting both working and protection traffic in many of the network applications.

The FC9511MMS5, HECI code SNCJJX7, is a Fujitsu FLASH-192 Long-reach OC-48/OC-48c interface with SC connector

The MMS5 units provide the OC-48 and OC-48c interface for the FLASH-192 system. It utilizes long-reach optics.

The FC9511MMS5 units provide the protection switching for most of the network applications and can provide a terminal time-slot assignment (TSA) function on a TSAx48 basis.  Each unit handles 48 STS-1 channels, with paired units supporting both working and protection traffic in many of the network applications.

In a 0:2 dual-working system configuration, there is only a single input to the MMS5 unit from a single DMS1 or DMS2; therefore, no traffic selection takes place in the MMS5. The signal received from the DMS1 or DMS2 unit is passed through the STS-48 pointer processor, where it is synchronized to the system master clock. The MMS5 units support drop and continue over protect (DCP) in 2-fiber bidirectional line-switched ring (2F-BLSR) configurations, only.

In addition to the FC9511MSF2 and FC9511MMS5, we are also interested in other Fujitsu FLASH-192 modules too. TruePulse buys and sells other Fujitsu optical platforms too, such as the Fujitsu FLASHWAVE 5221, FLASHWAVE 7120 and the FLASHWAVE 9500.  Please FLASH over to us your surplus list.
