Did you realize that there is gold on telecom circuit boards?  Typically, the older boards actually have more of the stuff.

In light of the current virus-related economic turmoil, gold has been on quite a tear.  At the time of writing of this article, gold was quoted at US$1629.

In fact, the value of the gold on your circuit boards is worth quite a bit more that what you typically see officially quoted.  This is because Gold Bullion Banks (on the LBMA or London Bullion Market Association) jointly agree to and quote the price for their gold “certificates”.  This is the widely published price.  But as has been recently published, people actually pay hundreds of dollars more for the real, physical gold:

So your obsolete, decommissioned telecom circuit boards have value!  Should you send them all off to a metal recycler?  Perhaps not.  Some of those boards may have even more value to another telecommunication service provider.  TruePulse is interested in buying Central Office telecom circuit boards from many vendors, including: Nortel, Ciena, Alcatel, Lucent, Fujitsu, Tellabs, DragonWave and IBM.  Before you send your equipment for boards for recycling, please send us a list of your inventory first.  Your boards may be worth even more than gold!
