TruePulse would like to acquire NT8E01QW and NT8E01VG for the Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE. This system is alternately called the FDN2400, or the Classic OC-48, Optera, MOR or MOR Plus. You may possibly know these modules as the Ciena NT8E01QW and Ciena NT8E01VG.
The NT8E01QW, HECI code SN1TAB0, is OC-48 long reach 1557nm ring transmit interface. The NT8E01QW circuit pack supports OC-3, STS-12, or OC-12 interfaces in all four quadrants of an OC-48 terminal shelf. It is to be used in conjunction with OC-48 extended long-reach receive interfaces (NT8E02C) or extended long-reach high-jitter tolerant receive interfaces (NT8E02D). Release 16 and later software has enhanced matched-node capabilities for path defect detection, protection switching, and provisioning. These enhancements are available only if the ADM node is equipped with two NT8E01LW/NT8E01PW/NT8E01QW/NT8E01TW/NT8E01UW circuit packs.
The N8E01VG, HECI code SNT3KUD, is an OC-48 DM-DWDM 1560.61nm 1:N transmit interface. It is recommended that you reserve the 1541.35, 1542.94, and 1560.61nm wavelengths for spare circuit packs.
