TruePulse would like to purchase NT8E11FM and NT8E11RM for the Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE.

The Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 network element operates with a maximum of 48 STS-1 signals (or equivalent) for each OC-48 optical channel. You can equip the OC-48 terminal shelf with a mix of DS3, STS-1, OC-3, STM-1J, STS-12, OC-12, and the Nortel Networks OPTera Packet Edge System (2x1000SX, formerly iPT1000) tributaries. The STM-1J and Packet Edge tributaries are only supported on GR-1230 Rings.

The NT8E11RM, HECI code SNT5J9J, is an OC-48 DWDM 1555.75 nm 1:N transmit interface. You may also be familiar with this as the Ciena NT8E11RM.

The NT8E11FM, HECI code SNT5J5G, is an OC-48 DWDM 1547.72 nm 1:N transmit interface.  You may also be familiar with this as the Ciena NT8E11FM.

Both the NT8E11FM and NT8E11RM modules are manufacturing discontinued.

Keep in mind, that in a 16-wavelength DWDM system, the multiwavelength optical repeater (MOR) and MOR Plus amplifiers support up to 16 traffic-carrying wavelengths at one time. These 16 wavelengths include 8 wavelengths in the red spectrum (1547.72 nm to 1560. 61nm), and 8 wavelengths in the blue spectrum (1528.77 nm to 1542.94nm). In a 32-wavelength DWDM system, the MOR Plus amplifier supports up to 32 traffic-carrying wavelengths at one time. These 32 wavelengths include 16 wavelengths in the red spectrum (1547.72 nm to 1560. 61nm), and 16 wavelengths in the blue spectrum (1528.77 nm to 1542.94nm).

In addition to the NT8E11FM and NT8E11RM, we are searching for other Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE modules.  We are also interested in modules for other Nortel optical transport systems, including the OM3500, the OM5100/OM5200, and the OME 6500.  We are always interested in what you may have available.
