TruePulse is looking to purchase NTK553GB and NTK553HA modules for the Ciena 6500 optical transport platform.  You may also be familiar with the platform is the Nortel OME 6500.

The NTK553GB is a Selective MUX/DEMUX (SMD) FLEX C-Band 8×1 Circuit Pack. It is used with the CCMD12 circuit board, NTK508FAE5, to offer colorless add/drop per-wavelength switching. The NTK553GB provides similar functionality to the SMD 50 GHz 8×1 circuit pack, NTK553GAE5, with some changes to the technical specifications and power consumption. This unit is alternately known as the NTK553GBE5.

The NTK553HA, HECI code WOWUA50, is a Wavelength Selective Switch (WSS) 100 GHz w/OPM C-Band 4×1 Circuit Pack.  It is used for flexible per-wavelength add/drop/passthrough and per-wavelength switching in 100 GHz spacing. The NTK553HA has branching capability of up to four connected nodes (4×1). Meaning, this circuit pack has four Switch In ports and four Switch Out ports.  The NTK553HA is a newer version of the NTK553EAE5, which is a WSS 100 GHz w/OPM 5×1 circuit pack The NTK553HA has a few changes such as fewer ports and it is only single slot-wide, compared to the double-slot NTK553EAE5. This unit is alternately known as the NTK553HAE5.
