TruePulse is looking to purchase Nortel NTUC31TJ and NTUC31TK modules.  They belong to Nortel’s Connect DX/HDX platform.

The NTUC31TJ, HECI code WMTWEN0, is a Nortel OPTERA HDX 10G QD Transceiver.

The NTUC31TK, HECI code WMTWEP0, is also a Nortel OPTERA HDX 10G QD Transceiver.

The Nortel Connect DX/Connect HDX Platform is a highly scalable multi-protocol switch/router.  If offers MPLS, IP Switching, and deterministic operation to handle packet/cell-based data traffic as well as real-time voice/video services.  Typically, the Connect DX/HDX employs the Nortel Passport 15000 Multiservice Switch subtending network elements to provide mixed data/voice/video service access and ATM adaptation.  The Optera Connect can provide SONET/SDH service cross-connect and transport configurations with scalable capacities up to 40 Tbps.

Launched in 2003, the Connect DX/HDX platform is no longer supported by Ciena.

In addition to the NTUC31TJ and NTUC31TK, TruePulse is interested in other Connect DX/HDX modules.  We are also interested in other Nortel/Ciena platforms including the S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE, the 6500, the DMS-1U and the OM 3500.
