On Saturday, September 26, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill will be holding their first “Bottle and Food Drive” to collect alcoholic bottles/cans for deposit refund, and packaged food.

The money collected will be used to the benefit our local community programs in desperate need during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The packaged food will go to the Richmond Hill Food Bank.

The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill is a service club aimed at helping organizations in need – both locally and internationally.  Since the Covid-19 crisis has struck, they have donated PPE/Gloves for the Yellow Brick House, $2,500 to the Richmond Hill Food Bank, and $1,500 worth of gift cards to front line workers at Mackenzie Health.

However, Rotary’s ability to help our community organizations has also been effected by Covid. At this point, their only donations are from club members.  So this Bottle and Food Drive is really crucial.

Please help by dropping off your beer cans and liquor bottles, or making a packaged food donation, on Saturday, September 26, 11am-4pm at multiple drop off locations across Richmond Hill.

At TruePulse we believe in giving back to the community. Hence, we have been strong supporters of Rotary for years. But more than that, this Bottle Drive is consistent with our own environmental philosophy and beliefs.

Thank you for your support!
