Earlier today, telecom market research firm Dell’Oro announced that worldwide telecom equipment sales grew 6% year-over-year (Y/Y) over the past twelve months.  That sounds encouraging, in contrast to some other recent reports.

Mobile RAN and Optical Transport led the sales increase with revenues up 10% and 8% respectively.
