TruePulse is looking for WSPG06B and WSPG18B OTUs for the Lucent WaveStar OLS 400G platform.

We are looking to purchase:

The WSPG06B, HECI code WMW6ZG0, is an OTU (optical translator unit) for the WaveStar OLS400G.  These may also be known as the Alcatel-Lucent WSPG06B, or the Nokia WSPG06B.

The WSPG18B, HECI code WMW6ZV0, is an OTU (optical translator unit) for the WaveStar OLS400G.  These may also be known as the Alcatel-Lucent WSPG18B, or the Nokia WSPG18B.

OTUs are needed to interface optical signals between the WaveStar OLS 400G and other Network Elements (NEs). OTUs are situated at end terminals, ring terminals, and WAD sites. The purpose of the OTU is to provide an optical-to-electrical-to-optical (OEO) function. Add OTUs convert client optical signals to wavelengths that are compatible with the WaveStar 400G.  OTU circuit packs within an end-to-end configuration provide a means to clean up impairments to the optical signal caused by passing through the OLS system. The OTU eliminates noise and distortions caused by the system and outputs a fresh optical signal that can then be transported over another OLS system.  Each OTU supports two OC-192/STM-64, OC-48/STM-16, or HSBB channels per circuit pack.
