TruePulse is looking to purchase NT8E11VS and NT8E13HM circuit packs for the for the Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE.  This system is alternately called the FDN2400, or the Classic OC-48, Optera, MOR or MOR Plus.  You may possibly know these modules as the Ciena NT8E11VS and Ciena NT8E13VM.

The NT8E11VS, HECI code SNT5K4G / SNT5K4GAAA, is an OC-48 DWDM 1541.35 nm ring transmit interface.

The NT8E13HM, HECI code SNT4LH0 / SNT4LH0BAA, is an OC-48 DWDM 1558.98 nm regenerator/transmit interface.

In a 16-wavelength DWDM system, the multiwavelength optical repeater (MOR) and MOR Plus amplifiers can carry up to 16 traffic-carrying wavelengths at one time.  These 16 wavelengths include 8 wavelengths in the red spectrum (1547.72 nm to 1560. 61nm), and 8 waves in the blue spectrum (1528.77 nm to 1542.94nm).  In a 32-wavelength DWDM system, the MOR Plus amplifier can carry up to 32 traffic-carrying wavelengths at one time.  These 32 wavelengths include 16 wavelengths in the red spectrum (1547.72 nm to 1560. 61nm), and 16 waves in the blue spectrum (1528.77 nm to 1542.94nm).

Ciena offers only limited support for the S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE product line.

In addition to the NT8E11VS and NT8E13HM, TruePulse is interested in purchasing other boards for the Nortel S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE.  Moreover, we also actively looking for other Ciena/Nortel optical transport platforms, such as the 6500, the FMT-150, the OM5100 / OM5200 and the CPL.
