TruePulse is looking to purchase an NT4A01BA for the Nortel DMS-1U.  Alternately, we can trade you a NT4A01AA for it.

The NT4A01BA, HECI code SLCSNJR, is a DMS-1U Network Manager and OAM (Operation and Management) card. You may also know it as a Genband NT4A01BA.

NT4A01AA, HECI code SLCSNJ0, is a DMS-1U Message Processor card. You may also know it as a Genband NT4A01AA.

The DMS-1U, or DMS-1 Urban, is one of the types subscriber loop concentrators for the Nortel DMS-100.  The SCM-100U provides a digital interface between the DMS-100 and the remote terminal (RT) of the DMS-1U system. The term RT is used to describe the DMS-1U in its stand-alone configuration (also called the universal configuration). The term remote concentrator urban (RCU) is used to describe the DMS-1U when it is fully integrated into the DMS-100 switch (the SCM-100U is the peripheral module that integrates the DMS-1U into the DMS-100 switch).

Ribbon Communications, the owner of Nortel voice switching systems, no longer supports the DMS-1U.

Beyond the NT4A01AA and NT4A01BA, TruePulse is interested in other modules for the Nortel DMS-1U.  We are also searching for modules to other Nortel systems, including the DMS-100, S/DMS TransportNode OC-48 NE and the CS2000.
