TruePulse would like to acquire ERW3 and ERA2 for the Lucent WaveStar DACS IV. 

We are looking for Lucent WaveStar DACS IV (or DACS 4) boards including:

ERW3, HECI code T3CPJ40, Comcode 108224361, is a DACS IV OPT Extension.  It may also be known as the AT&T ERW3 or the Alcatel-Lucent ERW3.

ERA2, HECI code T3PQAG5, Comcode 108224262, is a DACS IV-2000 CPU3 Unit.  It may also be known as the AT&T ERA2 or the Alcatel-Lucent ERA2.

The WaveStarDACS IV is a large-capacity cross-connect system that provides flexible bandwidth management in a SONET environment.  In simple terms, it is a DS1/DS3 grooming device. Through electrical-layer grooming, services of different granularity are groomed and encapsulated into one wavelength and output to the WDM side. This enables multiple services to share the bandwidth, greatly improving bandwidth utilization.

Nokia is no longer provides support for the DACS IV product.

In addition to the ERW3 and ERA2, we are looking for many other DACS IV cards too.  We are also interested in purchasing parts for other cross-connects systems too, including Tellabs Titan 5500, Alcatel’s DEXCS, Nortel’s DNX-4.  Please let us know what you have available.
